National Pie Day is on Monday, 23, 2012.

National Pie Day is coming up on Jan, 23 and this weekend, folks
across the country are holding pie parties and festivals. Pie is a part of our
American heritage, a tempting dessert few can refuse (remember Frank’s reaction
to Becky’s Lemonade Pie in my ebook Breaking TWIG?), and yes, it’s my favorite
food group. 

So host a pie baking or pie tasting party to delight your friends or coworkers. Do it to help raise money for your favorite charity or to  make any meal extra special.Take a homemade favoirite over to a neighbor, someone new in the neighborhood, or a
shut-in. Use your imagination and have fun.
